Progress Update 10/25/2025

Ladies and gentlemen, a release candidate is available for your enjoyment today - well, atleast if you don't mind not being to save while in the editor! Link to the build thread: https://community.revolutionarygamesstudio.com/t/0-9-0-beta-testing/8710
Progress will continue to be made this upcoming week to ensure saving is working well for the actual release, but until, enjoy the cumulation of the past three months of work! Notable features include initial patch terrain implementation, comprehensive balancing changes to metabolisms and world events, visual improvements to currents, auto-evo improvements, and more. A more detailed description of changes will be included with the official release of 0.9.0.

- New build of the day (BOTD):
- Added an achievements view to the pause menu
- Reimplemented saving in the microbe stage while swimming around using a new custom binary format
- Updated some asset import settings Godot wanted to change automatically
- Updated code checking tools
- Updated BenchmarkDotNet from 0.15.3 to 0.15.4
