Progress Update 9/21/19
This week has seen a lot of progress from the programing team. Patches are now implemented, there's a new more efficient auto evo framework (though it's not perfect but it causes less lag than before) and there has been progress towards creating a procedural patch map generator.
There have been graphics improvements too: the environment is less bright now and organelles rotation in the editor has improved as well as the models' scale. As you can see we've had more progress in just o…

There has been a lot of discussion about how should the game transition from the current 2D environment to a 3D one. As you may know, the multicelular stage will be 3D and we need this question answered before we start working on it.
Fortunatelly, there has been a lot of concept art this week to try answer that. There has also been a lot progress on having the patch system finally done and to improve performance, which will be crucial for the next release. We are getting there!

Summer is here, many people have either finished school, or are getting ready for more. Vacations, hobbies, families and more all take up much of our precious time. However many here are still working on Thrive day in and out. Many things that get done aren't even able to be put on an progress update as they are small simple change. Such as uploading to Github, or adjusting a minor issue.
However we do have a few fun things to report on, with some pictures and videos to go along. I …
